The finished part is a disc-type cap with central concave boss and bottom plug-in column with positioning notch. It can be directly inserted and locked onto mating parts for quick assembly. Multiple tiny through holes are distributed on the top disc surface, serving for weight reduction, air ventilation, anti-slip friction and positioning marking.
HDPE Hard Base Frame: Features high structural rigidity, excellent impact resistance, acid & alkali corrosion resistance and ultra-low water absorption, maintaining long-term dimensional stability and installation fastening strength.

Precise injection temperature parameter control is required during two-shot molding, to prevent high-temperature TPU melt from penetrating and damaging the pre-molded HDPE base part.
Fine adjustment of shrinkage compensation value shall be done during initial mold trial, to avoid warpage, peeling and delamination of the overmolded TPU layer.
Additional exhaust slots shall be optimized on the large flat disc area of the mold cavity, together with reasonable packing pressure setting, to eliminate sink marks, air streaks and flow lines on the product surface.
This molded two-color cap part is widely applied in household appliance foot pads, equipment anti-slip positioning bases, instrument adjustment knobs, suction cup fixing covers and electronic assembly locking caps.
