| Venting | Optimized for glass-filled nylon |
PA6GF35 is abrasive due to the glass fiber content. The 1.2344 steel, hardened to 48-52 HRC, offers outstanding resistance to wear, erosion, and heat checking—extending mold life significantly compared to standard P20 or 718H.
Large Runner ensures uninterrupted flow of high-viscosity, glass-filled resin, reducing injection pressure and preventing fiber breakage.
Bottom Gate allows the melt to enter from the bottom of the cavity, enabling automatic degating during ejection, reducing secondary trimming labor, and leaving minimal witness marks on visible surfaces of the appliance shell.
The fully polished surface (high-gloss finish) facilitates easy part release and provides a smooth, aesthetically pleasing surface on the molded appliance shells. This also reduces drag marks and fiber orientation issues common with glass-filled nylon.
1.2344 Steel: High toughness, excellent thermal fatigue resistance, and good high-temperature strength.
48-52 HRC Hardness: Balanced for wear resistance and machinability, allowing future repair or design modifications.
